HOLLYWOOD WALK OF FAME , The Hollywood Walk of Fame is a sidewalk along Hollywood Boulevard and Vine Street in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California that serves as an entertainment hall of fame. It is embedded with more than 2,000 five-pointed stars featuring the names of not only human celebrities but fictional characters honored by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce for their contributions to the entertainment industry.
HOLLYWOOD WAX MUSEUM The museum, the brainchild of entrepreneur Spoony Singh, was opened in 1965,[1] and claims in promotional literature to be the only wax museum dedicated solely to celebrities. Behind the small storefront, the displays house some 180 wax figures[1] of media stars, fictional characters, and famous politicians, and a traditional Chamber of Horrors, featuring movie monsters and scenes of torture.
FREDERICKS OF HOLLYWOOD , Here, in addition to the selection of bras and panties, there are corsets, including their famous "Hollywood Dream" corset, bedroom slippers, a vast array of hosiery, bridal lingerie, beautiful special occasion lingerie, and even more high-end seduction pieces. The store no longer houses The Lingerie Museum featuring The Celebrity Lingerie Hall of Fame which exhibited a collection of underwear worn by Hollywood movie stars, such as one of Madonna's pointy-breasted corsets. However, this flagship Hollywood store does display corsets and bras designed by celebrities for charity.
THAI TOWN , Thai Town is a neighborhood of Los Angeles centered along Hollywood Boulevard between Normandie Avenue and Western Avenue in Hollywood. The half-mile long neighborhood was designated by the City Council on October 27, 1999. The area contains many Thai restaurants, markets and shops, including import stores, silk clothing stores and massage spas.
